Friends,
It's been weeks with no news of Faith Arella. Nothing. It seems that she has disappeared without a trace though the fact that her camera was discovered offers some hope that she may still be with us even if she is unable to communicate.
In the end, the Oculus provides no clear answers - just a countdown and a familiar symbol - the same one that we saw before the very first Oculus vision. This was the first vision of Faith, which leads me to conclude that the Oculus really does begin and end with Faith.
To help extract some kind of meaning, I keep returning to the part of this journey that confused me the most: Madam Steph's uncanny predictions.
Madam Steph spoke of an authority figure, or an institution that holds power over Faith. When asked about the Bethlehem Conservatory during her Live Chat in Australia, Faith became incredibly defensive. From the reports we uncovered, the Bethlehem Conservatory is particularly interested in Subject SC-6316 (Faith) who allowed them to make "significant leaps in research". What really went on at this school? I have a personal theory that the Bethlehem Conservatory may have allowed Faith to escape and encouraged her to 'follow her visions'.
Madam Steph also called Faith 'an explorer' on a journey that will 'affect the entire world'. What I'm drawn to watch over and over again is the part where Madam Steph describes 'The Final Destination' which she describes as a peak or a mountain, where eagles fly. Is this Mount Ararat or is it more symbolic in nature?
When I asked her about all this, Madam Steph sent me a video message that she made for Faith before her disappearance in which she makes some startling conclusions about recurring musical themes. Madam Steph always said that there are no coincidences.
In the final moments of Faith's recovered video tape, I noticed a change in her. She seems more aware, and she is able to decipher her strange symbols for the very first time. When she does read the symbols written on the cave wall, she repeats one word over and over: Nephilim—the race of angel-human half-breeds that are described in the Book of Enoch and elsewhere in the Bible.

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that..." - Genesis 6:4
We only have theories about the origins of the Oculus, but its ultimate message is that these Nephilim really did exist and continue to exist. I plan to leave this website up for a while, in case Faith reappears. If anything happens, you'll be the first to know.
I am also creating a new section of the discussion board called 'After Ararat'. Now that we have seen everything the Oculus has revealed, it leaves me wondering if there are any absolute answers out there. Perhaps we have had answers all along, but in our search for the Truth we have forgotten how much we need Faith.
As always, I remain

I tracked down a friend who could translate the song heard at Ama's shrine from Gujarati to English and was stunned to find the similarities that Madam Steph seemed to know all along. It is certainly connected to the Dies Irae, with references to ashes and the Day of Wrath.
