August 16th, 2006 - The
Oculus continues to reveal new runes and puzzles. Its latest addition,
accessed through the rune depicted below, is a quandry
of the musical variety. See below for the configuration, but you really
have to visit the Oculus and
try it for yourself!

Thanks to the intrepid researchers who have joined us on the
Oculus Effect message boards, a solution to the puzzle was found.
The clue, it seemed, was embedded in the song "The Messenger,"
created by DVJ Kriel and posted
in a video as well as a
downloadable MP3 file on his personal web
site. Whoever is behind the Oculus must have heard this music and used it in the puzzle. Are we being toyed
with?

By entering the
correct sequence of notes (above) taken from Kriel's song "The
Messenger," we were able to open a new "vision." This
one, as ethereal as the last, shows a series of stacatto scenes. A warning, perhaps?
Faith Arella has become quite
the globe-trotting tattoo artist.
From her home in Seattle, she flew off to Florida, where
she met DVJ Kriel and his odd associates. Now, it seems Australia
is in Faith's future. Is an Australian desert the one shown in the
latest Oculus vision? Share
your thoughts on our message board!
An oasis, or just a cruel mirage?

September 1st, 2006 - A lot of information to cover in this update, so I'll try to be brief.
Faith's journey to Australia unearthed a pattern of near death experiences. The Clarence Park B&B led us to Mike Miles, bus driver for the 'Miracle Mile' This Miracle Mile seems to have healing properties and has become a local legend in Adelaide. Mike seems doubtful of the power of miracles, but was shocked to learn that his journal was filled with sketches that matched Faith's tattoo symbols.
Faith convinced Mike to take him to the Outback, to see the spot where Mike was abandoned in the desert. Returning from the Outback, Mike stopped the car and Faith discovered a ripped day planner page from Gooderman Monroe, LLP. The day planner page was filled with dates - matching dates with Faith's travels. Faith is now suspicious that she is being followed.
The Oculus opened with a new vision of Faith Arella - this time filled with images of her as a young girl and with strange voices from her past. She immediately contacted me when she saw it. She discovered the Ocular Effect investigation and asked if I could set up a chat. Thursday, August 31st at 9pm Eastern and 6pm Pacific (10:30 am in Adelaide), Faith appeared on the Ocular Effect for a half-hour video chat with our team. Questions were submitted live and Faith gave some more answers from her point of view. The Bethlehem Conservatory was a touchy topic, but we FINALLY had a chance to see some of her legendary tattoos.
I've put an archive of the whole chat online HERE.
